I have a crown 3600VZ that on power up channel one odep light comes on solid instantly, while channel 2 odep light takes several seconds to come to full brightness. other than that both channels work fine.

Having worked on the vz5000, it drove me nuts. Kept shutting down due to the large copper speaker connectors.. Ended up replacing them with heavy duty cables.

Just discovered a wrung out screw on the PNP side. there's continuation of the circuitry from where the screw's head would make contact. should I leave it alone or run a jumper from a screw within the PNP side to where the screw's head is missing?

Make sure it isn't shorting anything out.

Greetings friend, I want to ask you if you have repaired the fault that I have in a Crown 5000vz amplifier, I was accommodating the outputs and to discharge the capacitors I made a short circuit with two screwdrivers instead of using the resistance indicated in the manual and after that the channel was protected, the 3 mosfet that are next to the 15000uf capacitors and the high-speed diodes were damaged, I already replaced them and the fault continues, the voltages are correct 90v on both channels, the outputs are good, I already checked the LM339N, IC555, LM7339N, what else do you recommend to review? Sorry for my bad English, my native language is Spanish, thank you very much for your advice

Hello Elias, check for "open" resistors and possible traces on the Main control board towards the rear of the amp. Hope this helps.

I got a 3600vz today. The Odep light on channel A goes out and channel is almost dead. I saw that they've replaced all transistors on that very channel before. What could be the problem

Look at the control board of that channel for open resistors

@@wasitech1133 Turns out the previous owner messed with Odep and few transistors was strained. I've realized that these transistors don't always go but they can become out of spec yet still play. So I changed all 12 and adjusted odep to spec and now my neighbors are glad I can knock the rats out there roof

@@westindianmotors3816 Okay Bro, it's never fun working on units that someone has changed parts in. I would verify those are the correct parts first, then move forward.
