A sigma deals with all of this early in their journey, we are well aware of the things we'll miss out on by choosing this journey.

I was born a Sigma - and I call BS. Why do I call BS? Because #1 you DO NOT CHOOSE TO BECOME A SIGMA (you are BORN a Sigma, end of story), and #2, you self-righteous self-proclaimed superior geniuses are NOT telling any young/inexperienced Sigma HOW to make it through the life that's waiting for them. I'm a Sigma, too, and I chose a career in IT simply because I COULD do it, not because it was great or because it was fulfilling. It just paid the bills ALWAYS and WELL. It did NOT make me happy, though - EVER. Now, you geniuses, what's your advice for other fellow Sigmas? I mean, once you're done posing in the spotlight, playing a cheap Alpha?

You are right in the fact that sigmas born sigmas, but we wake up every day and choose to be sigmas with every breath and decision as far as the self righteous aspect of your point seems a lot like the pot calling the kettle black, me thinks you sound more like a whiny alpha projecting your problems onto other. True sigmas don't blame others for their problems, they are fully accountable to themselves in every deed and word. Try harder and you might actually find your way, maybe grow up a bit too.

Wait.What.. I'm 57 y/o and when I was 33 I resolved myself to a lonewolf existence. Best decision I could've made........I found Christ the Messiah in my solitude. And I am at peace. Embrace it fellas.

Fear of external opinions actually never applied to me since I was young. I was so disgusted at the superficiality, hypocrisies, lies, theater, self validation, cliques, meanness etc in high school that I learned a horrible but valuable lesson. Society is sick and brainwashed. Because of high school, I made up my mind that I was never going to sell out to societies sick behavior at any cost. Meaning of course, this one sick symptom, fear of external opinions. Finally, in your great videos, I don't resonate with something but overall you are 98% with me! 🙂

You left out an important aspect in your comment - the one that would teach every young/new/inexperienced Sigma how to make it successfully though life. HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR LIVING IF YOU REJECT SOCIETY?
@idealist636

@@winfriedmaus I didn't say "I REJECT SOCIETY" It's certain aspects of society that I do reject but it's "on a spectrum" it depends on the subject and details. You are wanting to make this "Black and White" but this is highly abstract or in a "Grey Area".

Until my mid 30s I was a perfectionist - I am a professional guitar-player - which is mostly regarded as a typical alpha male characteristic. Enjoying the progress came when I stopped trying to be the best. It's never too late for this insight.

Great video... AGAIN! All these points you mentioned really hit home! That quote you mentioned in the intro is excellent! I heard a derived version from a movie titled "Tuff Turf" back in the '80's that stated, "Life isn't a problem to be solved; it's a mystery to be lived!" That's when I first heard it. Keep up the great work! Sigma 4 Ever! 🐺

Umm...most of us sigmas have learned these things very young- that's why we're sigma. Some of them simply don't apply though, such as the one about 'learning what you're missing out on by having avoided relationships'. Nope. Some of us are just only happy being alone. In my 60's now, I think I have enough life experience to know. So many non-loners are miserable because of the relationships they've formed and need; we sigmas realize that while we may miss out on a few positives...in general, the cost of those positives is far too high to justify any hoped-for benefit. Most non-sigmas learn THAT lesson way too late, and thus lead lives of regret, mediocrity, and misery, while trying to convince themselves that it was worht it or that they are happy/should be happy.

It's depending on which stage as sigma does learn thing fast enough by observing and listening. No worries.

I think you're going to find that the sigma, certainly has many of the known traits when young, but life develops them. Your experiences in life, will only further contribute to becoming who you were always meant to be. So I don't think it's a case we learn them too late in life as we have to come to our own conclusions and this is done, unfortunately (but necessary), through personal experience. We can be told the fire is hot, but we're only going to learn by burning ourselves. Sigma traits, really start to kick in, well for me, when I hit my mid 30's. The older I get (53) the more the personality envelops me. It's having the courage, really, of being what you're mind has been telling you to be, that's the real clincher here. It's harder when young, due to societal and peer pressure, to be a sigma, but when you get older it's oh so much easier.

Sigma Empath understands this quite quickly (all of these)... and can start living life to the fullest :) "Freedom from and to" ~ Carl Jung Of course, Søren Kierkegaard is an outstanding mind and I have known this quote for a long time... "Asking for help is not weakness"... RIGHT But it was different when the fault was entirely mine and I didn't listen to the advice. Do I have the right to seek help then? No - then it's breaking the rules. "Do not go to your brother when you fall" ~ Bible (assuming your own fault, even despite advice) Could I ask for help? Yes, very rich people, but it would violate the moral code (who would I be for the rest of my life? It's better not to think... and I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. It's better to be poor for a while ;) DUCK! This is the maximum I could become...
