I love the music, and the concept. It's so so so refreshing. and makes me yearn to ditch it all and go, today.

I wish I were healthy enough to do what you are doing. I'll stick with my kayak, as it is easier to move on the water. I like that you use a safety line when out of the boat. A friend of mine and his wife were cruising mid-pacific, and were becalmed so they went swimming. A breeze came up and blew their boat away. Luckily, only for a couple of hundred yards, and they were able to swim and get back on board, but I'm sure it scared them a bit. I wish you calm seas, and fair winds.

1. You need a sliding rowing seat and better position if you're going to row as a serious propulsion 2. You need a bigger hat 3. You need a motor or more patience 4. Golf umbrellas are brilliant, as are MP3 players and ukuleles, when you're stuck in the sun in an open boat 5. If you're going to row for hours on a flat sea go ahead and furl those sails 6. Sculling is much more pleasant than rowing as you can see where you're going, and is just as slow 7. Never get out of the boat when alone

1. You're missing the point. 2. He can probably fight. 3. He is patient, he's making an open sea voyage in a 14' boat! 4. Peace and quiet is also perfect. 5. The sea is not flat - the sails help to dampen the motion from the swell. 6. Meh, 6 of one... 7. He's tied on, and he's a grown man.
