I had a video interview, at the end of the interview I asked the ‘hard’ question’. I asked “So based on what we’ve talked about in this interview, is there anything that would make you hesitate in hiring me?” The recruiter seemed thrown off because she said “oh- well actually no, you answered all our questions without hesitating and I liked your answers.” At that moment I knew I nailed the interview.I followed up with an email a week later, they said they hadn’t given any offers, two days later I got the job offer and I accepted it. I start the 27th of this month, thank you so much for your tips! These videos are gold and I’m glad I found your channel.

Hi Cass. I am a retired government employee but I watch your video and I forward it to my classmates and friends in school. One of them told me recently that he used your video when he did his prep for an interview. He got the job. He told me about it only recently when I forwarded another of your video to him. I am so glad he got the job and became permanent before the covid19. Because of that, I got encouraged to continue forwarding your video to others. Thank you very much, Cass.

Hi Cassandra! I just wanted to say thank you! I have graduated from a top EU Business School during the pandemic and my job hunt has been tough. Lots of companies here in Europe stopped the hiring processes, internships were postponed or cancelled, so the competition was huge. However, I have followed your advice religiously and I've not only managed to find my dream internship as an Assistant Brand Manager in a wonderful company, but I've received multiple offers! THANK YOU and lots of love from Italy :)

Cassandra, you´re amazing! Thank you so so so much! I followed every single advice and I nailed it! I got the job that I wanted. The initial questions "tell me about yourself" or "What´s your motivation" are crucial for all the interview. I applied the STAR method in every single answer. The interview was great because I practiced, praticed, praticed and in my spare times I practiced a little bit more, like Cassandra advise us to do and in the end of my preparation I even recorded myself to correct my posture and my face expressions. Lastly, I made the "hard" question to the board and 24 hours later I sent a "Thank You" e-mail :) Again THANK YOU Cassandra! I´ll be forever grateful for your advices :)

I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm usually prepared and know exactly what to say but eventually when the interview starts my anxiety and nerves kick in and what I planned on saying goes out the window. Sometimes I leave some details out, sometimes I don't know how to end a sentence and it leaves me regretting it knowing there was a lot I could of said. And sometimes when they ask me a challenging question, out of desperation I blurt out a random answer even though I know what the answer should be. Any advise? Should I just slow down even though it might frustrate the interviewer?
@elise_jones

I’m exactly the same way. Im no expert but I have an interview tomorrow and I’m very nervous I’m gonna do the same thing. The things I’m going to do to avoid stuttering and blurting our random stuff are: rehearse rehearse rehearse so I won’t be struggling to find answers, watch her “how to calm nerves” video, treat the interview like a conversation, and have confidence by knowing why you applied for the job in the first place and that you CAN get it and WILL be amazing at it!!

Notes: 1: First impressions matter A LOT. (70% of their mind is already made up in the first 6 seconds). - Smile 2: Answer 'Tell me about yourself' greatly. (What you've done that matters to this company, end with why you're in the room today) 3: Answer behavioral questions using the STAR method: Situation, Task, Action, and Result. (Emphasize on the R) 4: Send a 'Thank you' email. 5: Practice and prepare.

Should it be as a reply all to the interview invite email and address each person individually? Or should they be separated into individual emails?
