Back in April of 2024 my mom had a meeting for her work in Dublin Ohio, which is right there with Columbus, I asked her if I could tag along and we could take a trip up to Marion which was an hour to our north, we got there and were there for at least 2 maybe almost 3 hours, and was able to capture at least 6 trains, most of which being on the Norfolk Southern Ex. Pennsylvania Railroad's Sandusky District, which is the busiest of the 3 lines through Marion, Marion was once home to 4 different railroads: the Erie, New York central, Chesapeake and Ohio, and the Pennsylvania, today these companies have been folded into just 2, as for the switcher at the end, I wasn't sure what he was going to do, so I stopped recording and started to pack up as we had a 2 hour drive back home, I will say that I didn't waste my time coming up here, there are 2 more locations in that area I plan to visit in the near future, so stay tuned for that, also let me know what you guys though of the narration that I did, this was my first video where I did a voice over while editing, let me know in the comments if I should do it again, or if I should just stick to no narration, I won't narrate every video I have, but I'll do a few here and there.
Note, in the beginning I referred to the connection tracks as wye tracks, hopefully I didn't confused any of you by doing this all though you will hear me say later on that they were connection tracks
Thanks for watching
