Standard setting is that..current should enter through P1 and exit through P2, considering the feeder as outgoing one... But AC ckt us bilateral...so, even if u connect the P1& P2 in opposite direction of assumed current flow, only changes in polarity of secondary terminal connection needs to be done

It depends on ur reuirement of system. For 33 kv & below systems in s/y..only 2 cores are generally required...etering and overcurrent EF protection

When we use S1-S2 ratio, then can we short S3 ,S4 tapping or kept open condition??

All other tappings than that of being used, will be left open for same core. Unused cores will definitely be shorted
