The memories came flooding back, from when we were kids and were able to camp there. And waking up to see a horse's head sticking into our tent, all because my sister forgot to zip the tent back up after going to the restroom. For a 8 year old boy, that's a very rude way of being woken up. LOL Thanks so much for the share, and please be safe.

You all were so close to the big Reds. And the perfect time to catch one.

We weren't looking for them then... but next time we will! Thanks for connecting with us and we hope to see you in the fall sometime when the reds are out!

Love the sound of the turbo whistle while in the tunnel. I would have had to roll the windows down, throw it in neutral, and let it rip a little. Glad to see it running strong again!

Rocket's turbo whistle is awesome to hear! Didn't think about the neutral idea, but every time we go through a small underpass or have a barricade by the road we definitely get to hear the turbo whistle and the engine roar! Thanks for the kind words and for continuing to watch!

Great video! Funny ponies! The tunnels remind me of the ones under Mobile Bay in Alabama

Thanks! We drove those tunnels but there was something eerie about how the Chesapeake bridge-tunnel was compared to when we drove beneath Mobile Bay. I can say it will be a while before we do either again so we probably won't have accurate recording of the differences by then! Thanks for watching!

I’ve driven Under Chesapeake Bay and it was pretty scary! I’m sure for the daily commuters it ain’t nothing but a thing!

I'd hate to make that daily commute at $14 each way! But there are definitely worse drives to work! Thanks for watching!

The difference between ponies and horses is height. Ponies can only be 14 hands high. That's measured to the whithers (just below the mane). A hand is 4 inches. Don't be fooled though. I drive mini-horses (the categories for those are confusing too, though also based on height) and have a buddy that has a pulling team of "ponies". He has many blue ribbons in New England. His ponies are 52 inches tall but weigh 1150 pounds each. So short answer, height is the difference. Enjoy your videos.

And here I thought ponies were just colorful creatures with rainbow-colored manes that could fly and do magic! Thanks for filling me (Chris) in!

Did you stay at the National Seashore or a private campground?

No worries! I thought we mentioned the state park campground in the video! Much better bathrooms, pretty much the same price. Most people we meet say they stay at the SP instead of national seashore. But we have our National Park pass so going to the seashore is free and literally right next door.
