Kittredge, Romero, and Helsley haven’t looked as sharp in the last few days, but they’re finding ways to keep the lead, so the small heart attacks are worth it. I’d still really like to know Oli’s thinking behind pulling Gray after 5, that just doesn’t make sense.

Never lose faith in this team..can't believe fans were actually saying trade Goldy..they are insane. Goldy and Nado should be Cardinals for the rest of their career..also I ragged on Burly a lot last year but he proved me wrong this year, man is a BEAST and so is Masynn WINn. Love this team, their is just something special about this team!

Since that bad series loss to the White Sox and Mets, and getting swept by the Brewers, Cards are 11-2 with Goldy and Arenado heating up. Things are definitely looking up. But, that’s generally the view from the bottom.

Great game, but why did Sonny come out of that game? He was doing great and it almost blew the game. From what I could tell he pulled himself out, and that would be twice now he's pulled himself. The first time was understandable because he was in a bad situation and knew he would lose it if he stayed in, but tonight I can not understand. Pitch count wasn't real high and was at 9 strikeouts. I don't get it

We don't have a 5th pitcher in our rotation right now, so they keeping him at a pitch count, it sucks because the bullpen has been okay, not great n these past couple of games has been real close or looks like we finna give up the game late, so we need to be more consistent with pitching n keep the hitting going

This two game series sure had plenty of excitement. It was typical for Cards versus Cubs. It's a great rivalry but I think more because of the mix of fans for both teams attending the games that makes it special.
