CUCUZZA, CUCUZZI, SERPENTE DI SICILIA EDIBLE GOURD
This popular Italian edible gourd is tender and delicious with a rich flavor. The Italians eat these steamed, sautéed, or stuffed and baked. When I first began growing Cucuzza I had hard time finishing information about WHEN TO PICK so I decided to put together a few videos with the information I had a hard time finding back then. My Sicilian friends prefer their cucuzzi very tender and as seed free as possible. Because they grow so incredibly fast if your not paying attention you might miss the PERFECT TIME TO HARVEST these delicious vegetables!!! DON’T OVERGROW YOUR CUCUZZA!!!
