Found a box of crystals in my alley once. Showed them to my gf, my sister, and my mom. @@Navi405 Not really. What ACTUAL intuition is, is a kind of "sense" of what to do in a certain situation that is based on such vast amounts of tiny bits of information that it's impossible to consciously parse through it all, and we have no time to make a logical, rational analysis. It helps us make better decisions, usually in smaller, relatively unimportant, everyday situations. But of course, a lot of people get that confused with the popular CONCEPT of intuition which they imagine to be some kind of magical understanding of people or things or situations where they can just "guess" the truth by feeling really hard with their magical intuition sense, which seems to operate on a psychology similar to people who actually think astrology works or they have telekinetic powers.
@dreamhead_citizen3299

@@viljamtheninja So essentially they make extremely biased decisions and observations without thinking before they act. Children are very intuitive then, especially when the shimmery calmness of a fork can be fused with the endearing I • I faced serenity of an unsafe outlet in the corner of the room. Or the intuition to let go of the wheel, scream and close your eyes when you can still steer out of an incoming vehicle before you crash into it, never understood that one so it must be intuition 😂

I get what you mean. Still, there are 8 billion people in the world, even if only 1% of the population thinks like you, those are still 80 million people that think like you. Also the human experience is one of bonding by sharing values and thoughts, there are always going to be people who think alike. BTW: I laughed at this video from beginning to end, don't view me wrong. EDIT 2: Having people like ourselves gives us a sense of belonging. I believe if you are absolutely unique no one will understand you and you might end up feeling alone and disconnected from the world (saying this while simultaneously trying to stand out and be "unique").

Intuitively, negativity is bad, and so negative or critical thoughts about the self are bad, and should be immediately rejected, but negative thoughts about other people are a negative part of the world caused by other people, so those thoughts should always be externalized/expelled and be spoken - it will help them, is part of their journey, and making the world a better, less negative place. That’s what “intuitive” means to this type of person - zero reflection or acceptance of criticism of the self, and constant spiritual piousness, condescension and neglect of validity projected onto other people, masked in a sheen of smiles, positivity, gentleness, innocence and colorful naturalistic aesthetics. “They know you better than you know yourself - they’re intuitive” - That is the best description of certain people that I’ve ever heard. I needed that, thank you. I think for some people like this, they’ve had such negative experience in their life, even a trauma, that this is their only response to it, and honestly there are worse responses and worse ways to deal, and I feel sorry for them in their trauma, but god damn if doesn’t take some effort not to let them drive you crazy too. And then there are other people who don’t have a great excuse but just find it easier to be “intuitive” like I said.
