Oliver’s were always an underrated tractor. They were built very solid.

Very nicely done, it's good to see taking the extra time to use original intake and exhaust positions on the sheet metal too. Looks like it was made that way. Great to see people reviving old iron. 👍✌️

Great job. I always wanted to find a 1955 setting and do an engine swap on it. They were an awesome tractor. I have a 1974 model 1755 with the short radius front end we bought in 1976 when it only had 220 hours on it and it has been a great tractor.

Great job with your conversion! The 5.9 is an awesome engine and makes the 1955 a great tractor! I’m glad to see that you left the tractor in its original patina. Only thing I’d do is add a 4” straight pipe to her so I could hear that Cummins talk!

My dad wished that he’d have done that to his 1855. Which was my favorite tractor next to his 1650. The only issue I have with this video is that when you have it all torn apart you didn’t repaint it. Sounds great though

Thats why i asked about hp. Factory was 110 pto i think. Engine maybe 130 hp? Looks really nice. I worked with several oliver/white engineers at white new idea in coldwater ohio and got famiiar with some of those tractors and we were using B and C cummins engines at that time.

Awsome build!, this will help me out a lot of when I go to build my Cummins powered 1955 pulling tractor. Still got a lot of homework to do though! Do you have a link to the conversion kit? I looked on their website and I couldn’t find it?

What bell housing do you do to get the 3 speed hooked up?
@KeepingUpWithOzzy
4 ай бұрын
It was provided in the kit we bought from Maibach Tractor, since this was an industrial engine(out of a generator) we were able to just use a different bell housing, if you’re using a truck engine they will provide an adapter plate to run the stock bell housing
