That’s a fact! It’s an amazing thing she has done and she is not patronising, she is educating others in her position and to be fair a number of our people need educating on hair care. I have 4a hair and thought I could use anything on it but soon found it was damaged. Hair porosity is not something we would think about, but usually go by adverts, recommendation from friends, packaging and smell! I take my hats of to her and her husband for keeping siblings together and they are truly loved, well brought up and happy! That’s what counts. Gods Bless you all Christy. May He continue to supply all your needs and always give him thanks. 🙏🏽♥️

I so agree with you on that one my friend let me tell you I have bi-racial children and grandchildren myself so I know that all too well, I love them all so much that I made it my mission to make sure I learned everything and got the knowledge about different hair textures and what to do for their hair so they would look beautiful and not like( who did it, what for and please don't do it no more), sadly throughout the years people have made assumptions that I wouldn't have any idea on how to do hair for African American girls or the hair care but in reality like Christy I have taken the time to learn and obtain the knowledge❤❤❤ I love your channel and you have such a beautiful family❤❤❤

@@mareek2007 For me personally I use grease when doing a protective style I only need to reapply when I need to moisturize again. I make sure that I shampoo when my hair is fairly dry because the grease will have mostly rubbed off by then (I’m not a super active person) and when I shampoo with my regular non sulfate shampoo it comes right out. Sometimes I may need to shampoo twice but it comes out easily for me! Hope this helps 🥰

You are truly amazing. You've mastered natural hair in my book, and i bought Carol's Daughter because of you! You have shown that it is very possible for white people to do the work necessary to understand and appreciate black hair the way that black people are forced to accept white or looser hair patterns as the beauty standard in western society. Not that you don't do this already, because these videos show that you probably do, but it is so vital for us as a society to recognize ALL places where anti-black bias affect our lives, as the data shows that it is insidious, and the effects are real! Hair is a huge one, and you are setting your girls up for such success here. This inspires me to, and to remind others to check themselves because sometimes you really don't know when you have a bad belief rooted in racism. I can tell that your girls, if you have anything to say, do not believe that they are uglier, dumber, lazier, less capable, or less worthy of love due to their blackness, and these burdens plague us and society will just go right along, happy to have us believe these things about ourselves. I'm just so happy and hopeful to see someone like you putting in that work for our future generation. I'm looking forward to seeing great things coming from the kindness and love you show your kids; you're raising future leaders! Unrelated, but all of your children are gorgeous, but legit I could see Eliyah doing modeling if she were interested and not already doing so! I'm not a family blog watcher, so forgive me if that was already a thing.
