so glad you and your husband are safe and okay!! Red Comet sounds great. I def went through a plath poetry phase It's a bit blasphemous to like the tv adaption better but I totally know what you mean 😂 it's been a while since I read Interview but I just felt like they adapted it while keeping the soul of the characters so well! I am OBSESSED with the tv Lestat. the amc actor has replaced lestat in my head with how perfectly he lays out the melodrama. I'm so interested to see where S2 goes!

I own "Red Comet" and have been meaning to read it for a while now. Also a fan of Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles." Hope all is well! 😎📚👍

I'm so glad to hear you and your husband are fine! I hope you'll be both fully recovered soon ❤ I have a question about Trollope's autobiography: have you found many spoilers to his novels in it? I just downloaded the book and I'm looking for his comments on the books I've read but I would not tead spoilers for the ones I haven't! Thanks!

Thank you so much! ❤ There are some spoilers in his autobiography, particularly one for The Last Chronicle of Barsetshire. It has a whole heading devoted to it, so definitely don't read the autobiography if you haven't read that one. I haven't come across anything major about any other books, but I still have about a third of the way to go, so there may be more.

I've been interested in reading Interview with a vampire for a while, not sure if you convinced me to give it a try ;) Sorry to hear about your accident, glad that you are OK.

Thank you. ❤ I don't think what I have to say in my wrap up will convince you either haha. But I highly recommend the TV series! My husband and I are having a great time with it.

Am reading Sociopath by Patric Gagne. I trust that everyone knows a sociopath in their life and this will be what they need to understand the misery they have been put through. But it is also fun to find this type in literature. My first find is the character Reginald in the short stories of Saki/H.H.Munro. Can't stop laughing. It may help me forget my real sociopath (for a while).

I've seen Sociopath around and think it looks quite interesting. How are you finding it so far?

Glad you are alright! Wasn't Sylvia Plath suffering from depression? Any adventure into the mind in crisis would be interesting. I'm glad Trollope has a society. Like Jane Austen. His works are so good. Should I deep dive into him? Thats a lot to cover. I'm so into women writers, like you.

Thank you! ❤ Yes, she had depression (I'm actually wondering if she was bipolar; the way she's described fits that). It's definitely fascinating. A deep dive into Trollope sounds like a lot. But maybe a few each year over the course of several years? I think I might do a Margaret Oliphant project that way once I'm finished with my degree.

Do you find yourself reading the notes in Red Comet or skipping over them? I find it stressful to read notes but I also feel unaccomplished if I do. How many pages of notes are there?

There are 127 pages of notes. I haven't been reading them much, just occasionally flipping back to see a source. They mostly just reference which letter or journal entry or whatever a quote is from. A few of them have a bit more.
