Nice video, great tutorial! That’s awesome, never seen that done on a sn95 before. I have a ‘14 mustang so I’m a big fan of anything mustang related. Best of luck with your future projects. Looking forward to seeing more content!

My concern is that tablets are not designed to be in extreme heat or cold like if your car is sitting out in the sun. If your car is super hot or cold inside, your tablet may not work until it reaches a right temperature.

How did you get around the pats system? Because 96-04 have a pats system.

The PATS system and the module that receives the key signal is in the PATS box under the dash and doesn’t have anything to do with the cluster. Thanks for the comment!

So the 96-98 is under the dash. But what about the 99-04 because I tried changing the cluster in one before and it wouldn’t start.

I will check on the iPad when I get home. The adapter was just a generic Bluetooth OBD2 reader.
