Classy workplaces! I think you need to make an apron around the workplaces or paint the walls around it with protective enamel or something to protect the walls from dirt and oil drops. And lighting is never too much :))

Oh man, those table frames would look mega sick painted your color of yellow with the red tooloxes! Perhaps another time when you don't have a ton of other stuff to do and feel like masking it off and all that nonsense haha. Killer job on building that thing! Something to think about if you fabricate some other stuff and need to paint it to give the new lair a few pops of color!

Well actually my other stuff that I make for the shop always ends up in orange. I have to bring a few pieces over still but I agree with contrasting colors. For this I wanted to match my old bench though

@@BrickHouseBuilds I feel you! That grey blends great with the grey on the walls too I'll get you a box of industrial caution stripe tape rolls to put on every edge and corner or every wall and surface and chair and foot peg in there to help out with the color part. And safety 😎

Looks like an epic place to work! BTW , my CX 500 I bought in 1978 had 5 zeros In the VIN, First shipment to the US. Have you ever considered building an NS 750 replica flat tracker? I think you could pull it off.

I'm using this build for my garage side room. Great video BJ! Was always curious about the way you designed this in your home garage. My space for a work area isn't massive but the way you have things organized and setup really inspired me! Again this is some great content.

First off THATS A BADASS SHOP!! Love the industrial look and the graffiti. Secondly, how is that 61” Husky toolbox treating you to date? I’m looking to purchase one for my aviation tech job and want to get a decent quality box for under $600. This seems to fit requirements. Was wondering how sturdy and well it’s held up? Also excellent fab job on that workstation! Earned ya self a sub :)

Well thanks so much! So far after a few months the box has been great. The drawers remain consistent in feel and work better with weight in them. The soft close is really nice and new to me on a tool box so overall I am pleased.

Wow, awesome that you’re moving to Wentzville, that’s only 30 miles from Maplewood , MO where my mom grew up and went to high school. She moved out to California in ‘47 before I was born, so I was raised out here. Cool coincidence! I own an ‘84 Honda 650 Nighthawk, sure would like to see you work on one of those! Love your channel, keep up the great work!

Hi BJ, love your bike videos, such care of detail, just how I am, at least thats my goal lol. I was not going to bother watching a workbench vid...but I am so happy I did, got started, got drawn in, enjoyed every second. Great content, great commentary, great care. Total respect. PS I am an older 60+ guy, I have learned so much from your channel, quite new to the bike scene, but always had the passion. Thanks.

Very nice job! I have my bench a little higher as motorbikes parts are usually small. 40" is good for me. The depth of your is probably better though... too deep makes is too easy for mess accumulation and make the wall tool display hard to reach. I would not use a black top. I love my shop to be a clear as can be. I never have enough light. Something I would consider in my next build is keeping any floor surface accessible. It means 6" clearance under any shelves, or furniture, and the ground OR a seal with the furniture touching the floor. It makes an easy to clean floor and no place where a small part (screw, spring, balls...) can hide😂

When you first shows the castors I didn't think there would be much difference, but wow was I surprised! Added bonuis, Bens dog ball won't roll under it easily I was half expecting you to paint it orange! My garage workbench is also a kitchen worksurface, but mine was salvaged from my neighbours when they had a new kitchen. Solid and does the the job well, but not as stylish
