Personally. i would have told the customer to clean the thing before they sent it for repair. Or billed them for the time wasted cleaning it . (my pet hate) 😂

As always, good work. Listening to the customer is usually the right thing to do. Does help in diagnosis. Not always though as you show.

It seems like telling the client to use only furthermost rotating part of that devices to mix is a proper way to use it.

In fairness these old bosch drills and the new refina mixer both thrive on abuse.
