One of the local quick oil change shops had a bad habit of pouring fuel additive in the master cylinder causing major brake repairs every wheel cylinder Caliper Master cylinder all hoses and a thorough flush of the steel lines and a few times it leaked from the master into the booster. Would come in once a week with a new problem that he read about on the online forums and TSB's and kept saying he bought a lemon. Our manager was stupid and made the mistake of replacing his transmission under warranty, just to try and get him to stop complaining. That didn't work and made things worse. He kept saying there was still something wrong with the transmission after, and demaned more work even though there was nothing wrong. Got to the point where we had to tell him to take it somewhere else. Made sure to contact every mitsu dealer in the city and warned them about him.

AWD on got around 22mpg. Kept bringing it back saying he was only getting like 15 mpg etc. So finally the head service advisor went out with him driving. The dude was romping it at every stoplight pedal to the floor in awd mode. The service advisor was like yeah uh that's why... The guy wasted so much of my time bringing it back so many times. There was a long talk after all that about the service advisors actually doing ride-along tests with customers after that, I was livid.

The only problem with the Delorean spitting bubbles is it would suck driving behind it on the free way lol

I'm so glad I have a good mechanic. He actually lives 3 doors away around the corner from me.

I was doing a PM on an h360xl (very large forklift) and while idle I noticed the intake pipe was collapsed. It was idling fine and no complaints about lack of power. Pulled the inner air filter and saw someone installed it backwards. The inner air had these "cuts" if you will, that allowed just enough air to make the engine breathe.

Here's a classic, maybe 20 years ago was at a shop, customer comes in irate, you guys just did belts last week and my power steering doesn't work! (Hes madder than a wet hen). Go look at vehicle (old Nissan hardbody p/u). Yup p/s belt laying on bottom. Look around for wth happened, theres a dead squirrel wedged against blowermotor case and firewall. Showed customer, he calmed down real quick. Wish i had a picture lol , squirrel was back against firewall arms out , was hillarious. We fixed it , he was very apologetic. 😂

Putting aside my bewilderment , a common emotion felt after watching these clips , i can relate to customers who pull some funny business to get a buy back or blame the car company for their poor judgement . Cursing out the sales manager or anyone else not your best move . Had a customer just recently who demanded new shocks , 1000 kilometers left on warranty and is when you see these types of tactics , came in dripping oil from both rear shocks but when we put the truck in the air the oil only went up half way and dry as a bone around the shaft seal , sorry no fault found and took pictures , goodbye . Or the gentleman who rear ended a big truck on the highway doing a buck 20 and blamed GM , occupants ok , all cars have what is in essence a black box that only GM legal can access , showed the speed when the brakes were applied the G forces everything . Felt bad for the customer , was a fireman trying to save his license for his job , we all make bad choices and deserve another chance , sometimes ..
