Brilliant documentary. Still don't understand why he got so many critics. Because he is very respectful, humble and make this documentairy also humoristic. Love to see young Natsuki and Chris together. Beautiful friendship. These critical people must've been sour. Also I am wondering if they drugged the cats in the stroller and the kittens for the photoshoots. Poor babies.

❤What a beautiful documentary! 😅 Do you actually have a cat allergy? (I read it on the comments somewhere) And how 😼 ironic that now you have a beautiful fiancée who loves cats😂 and even owns cat themed hostels! ❤ Thank you so much for this masterpiece. I love cats! I live in Neuquén, Patagonia Argentina. There's only one pet friendly café here and there is a female cat there called Misha. I love going there to pet her and because that's the only café with gluten free vegan cakes!❤ I enjoyed this documentary to the fullest. It made my day! 😊Thank you Chris 😺

I love the thorough tour of all the various cat places! Such a marvel to see. 私は日本の猫が大好きです。💖 Though I don't really appreciate his condescending, microaggressive attitude towards the cultural love for cats. His remarks about how "disturbing", "creepy", and "unsettling" the cat obsession in Japan is. It's actually a very good thing to appreciate the other life forms around us, so Japan is doing a great service by loving these intelligent animals.

This host is constantly mocking the culture of Japan. 10 minutes into this mockery of a documentary, I had to turn it off. Don't talk about cats and the Japanese in such a condescending way, don't make a documentary when all you did was bash the people who love cats unconditionally. He obviously hated bring there, super bad choice of a host by this media company.

Excellent documentary. I will say I would have preferred a host that had more cat-love vibe. The negative words about cats to an audience that probably is watching because they love cats is a bit disheartening. It's not unenjoyable because host is cool. Maybe just not for this subject. There are plenty of other KZitem personalities who could appreciate ears and paws more. I think it also misses a potential perspective from those who can explore and view it or discovers in a different lens.

We have cats that work in the U.K too, some that work for the post-office, some that work for railways & theatres, & are there to control mice & rats. There must be some that do that in factories, shops & offices too. I believe there are some that work at dentists & doctors offices to help calm patients. We used to have a cat that worked in our school kitchens at night to keep the rodents out.

I loved seeing the temples and the warm love the people have for cats. It reminds me of my pilgrimage to Fatima, seeing wax figure wishes and candles❤ It is annoying to keep hearing him say everything looks creepy and infantilize people's rituals. I've heard people say the same about Catholic saints and candles...it's sad that he lived in Japan for 5 years and hasn't been more open towards the culture.

This is one of my new FAVORITE cat documentaries. I am glad I stumbled on to this, I really do like KZitemr Chris and his personality, this was a fun film, made me smile a lot. Another great addition to my Playlist collection that is proving that we are the victims of world domination by a bunch of furry four legged cute creatures who we naturally just cater too the minute they mew! Imma Cat Servant, however, I believe that I'm not the only one, everyone who "lives with" a cat or cats IS. I have come to the conclusion that the world is being taken over by cats and are born indentured into servitude with the knowledge we are to jump when we hear a cat MEW!🤨

Hmmm... The tour might have been better presented by someone who actually likes cats. A cat lover wouldn't likely call a large display of maneki neko (waving cats which represent good fortune) as kinda "creepy". Or lack appreciation for a cat cafe's way of identifying them.
