They should still be playing stadium gigs! Not pubs and clubs! Truly one of the shamefully underrated bands of all time!! ... Brilliant!!

i think the fun and the joy to play as nothing to do with the location. that band rocked when they played in paris in some small concerts as it will have been in huge stadiums.

I love it when bands/singers do these extended intros to their music. This one...man, it kind of sounds like something Pink Floyd would do. It makes the original song that much cooler and sweeter. :> Besides, who cares if he's "showing off"...If you've "got it", you've got it. It's their song, so why not make it memorable like this? :)

definitely their biggest hit, but not their only hit if you go by actual chart positions. And they have a pretty big fan base that has supported them for the last 40 years and allows them to still now in 2024 make new records and tour and only have to do that as their career. So I think there are the winners in this conversation

Yes, this is long, but I think it is worth your time… especially if you’ve ever been worried that your phone is actively listening & keeping track of what it can hear/record. So I hadn’t thought of this song in years, & I certainly hadn’t searched for it on KZitem or any website… or, for that matter, searched for or listened to any song by Cutting Crew on any website. EVER. But a few days ago, I was watching a True Crime video from YT on my TV with my phone on the table next to me. During that video, both Cutting Crew & this song were mentioned. In fact, the guy narrating the video sung the chorus once in an attempt to jog the memory of the viewers regarding who the band was. And also because it is a great chorus. But again, that’s literally all that was said about the song or the band. So then today, this video from Cutting Crew randomly appears in my YT recommendations. 🤔😳🤬 That’s just about as crazy as the video I was watching that started all this. As for that video, get this… it showed what Cutting Crew’s former manager (or maybe he was their tour manager) from back in the 80s had been up to since “I Just Died…” hit it big. Just to be clear, CC obviously had no idea what this guy was doing (no one did until a few years ago) & they were not involved in any of this guy’s extra curricular activities in any way. But since I don’t know the YT rules regarding this type of stuff, I’ll just post a link & a warning. WARNING - The actions that this guy committed, which are not shown in photos or video, are described & are incredibly sick & twisted - kzitem.info/news/bejne/2IOpzniIraihpYLZi=0hF7rTrhnaiDfokv One last thing folks… Remember to watch what you say when your phone is within earshot. It’s crazy that needs to be said, but unfortunately it does & this is a perfect example of why. At least in this case, there’s absolutely no other explanation.

I understand the irony that if someone hadn't recorded this on a phone i wouldn't be watching it now but those mobiles would have been sent flying if any of them obscured my view of the gig.
