Really enjoy your videos. Just came across them recently (April 2024). There are other videos, out there, from American KZitemers, but nice to see a Canadian prospective. But, you can learn from many voices.

Remember in the old days blue chalk on the peg and then they came out with the what I used to call turkey beard that drove in the peg. I would hang more of those metal that was crimped end than I ever did the wood with chalk.

I know some of the young ones don't realize when you tell them they are doing something wrong it is not a putdown but a mistake we have already made and learned from.

I bought it from the Caterpillar dealer in Edmonton Alberta. It is called "Finning" and that was many years ago.

You don't like the M-series ?

Hi Jim, on occasion, I work alongside one of SG"s M series graders. I have only operated the M for a few hours, not long enough to build up the "muscle memory" for the joysticks. If I was a younger man, I would no doubt transition over to the M. As an "owner operator" the cost and ease of maintenace and repair, influences my decision to stick with my "H". I hope that what I try to teach on this channel, will be helpful to any grader type. For me, It's not so much " old school vs new school", It's more about the bottom line. This is an obvious question, and I get it a lot. Thank You for watching.
