This is a video taken over the course of a few weekends in which I cut many many rocks that have been in my collection and I've been dying to cut and see what's inside but I hadn't had a saw... until now. This is a Hi-Tech 10” inch slab saw.
Most of the stones in this video are from places in Washington or Oregon. I cut rocks from the Yakima River, Red Top, Biggs OR, Lincoln City OR, Washougal WA, Rimrock Lake, and the Yakima River Canyon as well as one piece of Crazy Lace Agate I purchased at an estate sale. I cut thundereggs, agates, geodes, jasper among other things I'm unsure of. I hope you enjoy!
Takeaway: cutting hard minerals takes a long time! But it's well worth it.
