I have a pb50 on a lc 440 and a pb80 on a 800 01 mtn cat. The numbers on the cover are what you line up with the marks on the inner and outer sheeve. I tried using a screw driver which I cut to fit to change weights but had to also use a tiny bit of heat to get them to budge. Little heat made it easy and no marring. Tightened them back cold so the heat trick will work again in the future. Nice video.

@@BurninGas8.1 😂😂🤦♂️. Well right now them clutches are on backorder what dealer said. I was going to go p-85 and cut taper but maybe go this route if your saying you got 5000 out of it. I’ve got a set of twins on a 10 so I gotta maintain at least 4800 engagement. Have you messed with springs? Or heard of anyone? Also of running 9200 rpm ? If you go to my channel you can see what we do with our sleds 🤣🥳🥳

@@fasterdura1772 again these are fully adjustable and if you call cv tech directly and are using it for full race or modified they will be able to set you up.... if you order for factory machine most times I take two or three weights out of each block leaving 9 or 10 left... I’m turning 8400 and engage at 4400.... that being said if I removed more those numbers get higher.... you can also order different springs but changing them is more involved... I’d call them and speak to a tech they will take care of ya... I’m sure if I took like six more weights out of each block I would be close to your numbers but no sense to rev my sled over 8400.... there is lots of adjustability right out of the box... usually 2 weights per block is about 250 rpm when removing them

I got a 2014 M8 in a trade, and it looks like it has this clutch on it. It keeps blowing belts even with caution. I think I’ll take it out and re install with the correct torque and hope it fixes the problem. The dealer in town won’t touch it because it’s not a Cat clutch.
