The 1st weekend motorcycle trip for 2024 is now in the history books for the Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders from Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Ontario Canada. We departed Meaford/Owen Sound Ontario to Tobermory on Friday 7 June, where 9 riders loaded bikes onto the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry and headed to South Baymouth Ferry Terminal, arriving a few hours later. The weather was great with the exception of a few sprinkles of rain during our ride to the Motel at Little current.
The photos and film taken by our (MIC) member in charge of this trip Roger aka Excalibur, tells the story of this incredible trip. Our Motel was awesome, a gas station and Restaurant across the street and a Royal Canadian Legion, where we all had a blast on night 1. Day 2 took us around various scenic destinations on Manitoulin Island, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We did encounter some rain on Sunday morning 9 June, on route to the Ferry home, but all managed to stay dry.
The destination, laughs, riding, camaraderie and sightseeing made this weekend riding trip one to remember. Enjoy the film.
Ride safe all!
