This path, CCP 2A is part of the Clyde Coastal Path between Erskine and the old Erskine Ferry slipway (close to Erskine Bridge) Renfrewshire. It runs parallel to the River Clyde and is suitable for walking and leisure cycling. The CCP is primarily for walkers and not cyclists. It was a cold day when I was cycling and included an altercation with a patch of ice. Thankfully no injuries and no damage!
The CCP was created a few years ago by Allander Rotary Club , Rotary Club of Gourock, Erskine and District Rotary, Rotary Club of Govan, Paisley Callants Rotary Club and Renfrew Rotary and is well signposted. It is known as the Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail. It forms a link between the top of the Ayrshire Coastal Path and the West Highland Way.
