Buenas tardes! Muchas gracias por su comentario y ver nuestro vídeo. La sincronización entre el árbol de levas y el cigüeñal es un procedimiento muy importante a la hora de montar el motor. Al quitar y montar la correa debe asegurarse que lo hace de acuerdo a las marcas de sincronización del cigüeñal y los árboles de levas. Esto es vital para que las válvulas se abran y se cierren en el momento correcto. Un saludo y que tenga un día estupendo!

I plan on replacing the head gasket myself on my 96 Celica GT 3SGE, great video to watch, only way I would say video would be better if it had someone explaining about everything throughout the video.

Why are you copperslipping the head bolts as every mechanic and mechanical manual since the birth of the internal combination engine says to only use engine oil as other lubricants can go off and cause those bolts to seize in the engine.

Hello there Not on the threads of the bolt it's not as the cooper in the grease will melt or go off between the threads fusing those carbon steel bolts into that cast iron bloc or with the expansion and contraction of the engine as it gets hot and cold those bolts could also work themselves loose causing the requirement of another top side rebuild. it's understandable putting a little bit between the plate washer and the bolt head but engine oil has always been plenty for getting those bolts down tight enough. As an engine oil and filter change is always part of this type of job so oil contamination hasn't been a worry I'm just concerned you've got a video out advising amateur and professional technicians to do something that's not advised from manufacturer and could potentially cost vehicles they're original engines. Other than that little nit pick the video is very informative of how to do a proper job just don't need to copper slip the threads on the head bolts.
