@@stylebyniall Maybe in your delusion but not in reality honey. Nice try though. That expression that comes across Patti LaBelle's face during the duets she sang on the show is the same exact expression that she had on her face when both Luther vandross and Amy Grant sang with her. She gets off on singing with singers that can sing period. I agree with you. LaBelle has a knack for bringing out the best in others during duets. She forced Cindi to sing, probably unlike she'd ever sung before! THE PURE EMOTIONS THAT BOTH OF THEM EVOKE COMES FROM THEIR SPIRIT. A TRUE SINGER SINGS FROM THEIR BEING (SPIRIT/HEART) AND IT TAKES THE LISTENER ON A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY. I remember in the 1980s, Patti LaBelle had a special where she sang duets with Amy Grant and some other singers. But the only person who could hold their own was Cyndi Lauper when they sang Time After Time and Lady Marmalade. Time After Time was so beautiful as a duet and they sounded so good together then they were raucous and tore the house down with Lady Marmalade. I saw Patti's face when she realized that she had found a kindred spirit. They have been friends ever since, Patti is even her son, Declan's godmother.

Mann I've treasure this sounds sooo dope in 2019 😁🙌🏾 Danm patti always forgetting lyrics so iconic she really brought the beat out of Cyndi ms labelle has always had that affect on other singers. What a duet so rare to see them sing together 👏🏾💜

This is perfection. I see two artists playing on each other's strengths to create a magical experience . Why can't most folks today support each other like these two?
