As a kid in London I remember the war declared announcement on the wireless. At 89, all these songs are still fresh in my memory and I must confess to some of them bringing a tear to my eye. I still sing some of them now here in Thailand where I've lived for the past thirty five years. I wonder if the WW2 wartime spirit would prevail if such a calamity was to strike again?
