This is my D-Day display in my museum. It represents Omaha and Utah beach 1 day after D-Day. This is what it probably would have looked like. All my displays are with 100% original items. The invasion happened June 6 1945 at 5:45 in the morning on a Tuesday. 150,000 American and Allied troops hit the beaches of Normandy France. Unfortunately in the 1st 24 hours we lost over 4,400 American soldiers and the Allies lost double that. We thank them all for their sacrifices, because of brave men like this we have our freedom today.
If you would like to see more we are open Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10:00 for one guided tour each of those days.
