Hello Dan, brilliant job with your first foray into 1/35th scale armour modelling. First coat of olive drab is a great idea and I'm not sure if you overdid the chipping. The SAS Jeeps certainly did look beat up in some of the reference photos and you did accomplish that by utilizing different techniques. The base was very clever and looks very effective. Also, well done on the weathering of the stowage, With your artistic license, the base, jeep and figures all come together into a very pleasing diorama. I would definitely encourage you to continue on in 1/35th scale armour modelling, if only because you enjoyed it so much and was pleased by the results as indicated in your "rambling". Best wishes to you in these tumultuous times from a viewer in Canada.

Cosworth Vega is a Chevy Vega with a Cosworth engine. This is a Ford Sierra Cosworth, from the European Ford division. Cosworth made engines for a lot of companies but notably for Ford in touring cars and rallying, they also have a lot of F1 ones with their engines.
