I used to fly the Stoney departure from Cranfield on the DA42 during my IR training and this video revived a lot of memories. Stoney departure has to be one of the most challenging instrument procedures out there!

I recently have discovered your KZitem account, very informative and fun to watch. Keep it up as I will be starting my own youtube channel soon. Also, I will be starting my training this April with FTA, in that aspect, your videos in Shoreham and ILS approaches are valuable. Hopefully I’ll be commenting on your videos more when possible.

Isnt expensive to take that training overthere? What would be the contribution to your skills getting training there than getting the same rating for less than half price in east europe

It is no lie that the airspace in the UK is some of the hardest in the world to carry out your instrument training in. That's why flight schools usually send you abroad for the PPL and CPL basics, but then have you do your instrument flying in the UK. London's TMA is one of the busiest in the world, and the quality of flight instruction in the UK is undeniably good in my opinion.

The most important question is, why on earth do you wear a safety vest in the cockpit...
