Joe was making records LONG before Anthony Hamilton, started in the 90's. just mentioning because you were saying he's Like anthony. I have his first 4 cds and his writing along with his vocals are perfection. I love that he's a writer and producer, complete artist. One of my fav lyrics, I wish that I could take a journey through your mind. He's a rarity that every song on his albums were not fillers. It's like he's having a conversation. Love Joe.

Joe is a pillar in 90's R&B. I was super happy to see you guys cover some of his stuff. Other songs by him I'd suggest "Good Girls", "How soon", and you might really like the writing and simplicity of "All that I Am" the title track from the album All that I am. Other artists I'd love to see reviewed are India Arie specifically "Ready for Love", your dad will for sure cry and some tracks by Musiq Soulchild. A more mainstream song would be "Love" but "Just friends" his debut track is great and would probably be a bit interesting to see reviewed also "Half crazy". Loved this review!! God bless. Edit: A quick fun fact, a few singers make cameo appearances in the music video for India Arie's "Ready for Love" including Anthony Hamilton.

Big Pun’s ‘I’m Not a Player’ included a sample of Joe’s single ‘Don’t Wanna Be a Player’. That’s why Joe was featured on Pun’s version. Also, it was very common in the 90s-early 2000s for singles attached to a soundtrack to have clips of the movie in the music video. It was a way of pushing the movie and boosting soundtrack sales

I think your dad would absolutely love the music but truly the lyrics of Musiq Soulchild’s “Love” and “Don’t Change”. He’d probably be able to tell that the song “Love” was actually originally written as a song about God but the record company spun it to a regular love song but a female Christian group remade it and used the same lyrics except changed Love for Lord. I'd love to hear what you and Dad think about Mint Condition! They're an awesome band; I think you'd both enjoy their music. Maybe Pretty Brown Eyes or Swingin'. Love watching the two of you💝

Happily Ever After by Case is one of my favorites and has Beyonce as his love interest.
Speaking of a vocal instrument, listen to Rachel Ferrell, Will Downing

Joe is one of the greats of the past 30 years of R&B. He’s an incredible writer and he puts on one hell of a live show!!!

Back in the day, when Soundtracks were really a popular thing, they would play clips of the movie within the video - even if it had nothing to do with the video's storyline. Lol.
