In every story like these, they always say how smart their child was, and that they were not really addicted to drugs well sorry but if they are willing to put a pill in their mouth or crush it and put it up their nose without any concerns of what it might do to them other than get them a big high, well excuse me,but they were not very bright or have a mind that was not controlled by drugs to begin with, because i have a son who tried many different drugs in his life and i brought him up to know about drugs and what could happen to him ,if he tried them ,but guess what? He tried them anyway, because all his friends were doing it and so he did not want to be called out, of the so called great high so he joined them, well thankfully for me he only got a scare and felt like he was dying and ended up in the hospital for a few days, but i can tell you this he never did that stupid trick again, but to the familes who are not as lucky as i was,my heart goes out to you all,but please do not blame yourselves, because sometimes as parents we can talk until we are blue in the face and our children are still going to do stupid things we would never in this whole world think they would even have a thought about chancing their lives for a few minutes of being high or trying to impress their peers. It is even worse today because now their are many deadly drugs and drug dealers on the streets in our own back yards,so now . parents have to contend with a much bigger problem then before,i do not have any amazing answer to this deadly problem and believe me i wish i did, but i can tell you this is only going to get worse, because the drug dealers are everywhere today and unless you can find them and know who they are, then shot them dead, before they get to your child, there will be more deaths to come and that i do know for a fact . 😥💔🙏

@Pi Halcott I'm hoping they do read what I wrote, and it sinks in. An addict in any family destroys the entire family during the process, causing stress, hate, disruption, sadness. It's all about them. If they can't see the damage they are doing, then it's already too late. Their passing , in time, is a blessing to the family as now they can live a peaceful life and raise the remaining children in a peaceful home. Just my thoughts. Watch the movie A BEAUTIFUL BOY. Staring Steve Carell and Timothy Chalomet. It's based on a true story. It helped me see the damage addicts do to their family.

That IS the World you live in Sir? It’s the World she lived in, and we can’t afford to be this uninformed anymore! “Out of sight, out of mind” is only half true. Just because you haven’t/can’t see it doesn’t mean that it does not exist. And that acknowledgement is becoming the difference between life and death. She was supposed to bury you; agreed. And I hate this for you…and every other Parent that has had to bury their children because of fentanyl. Especially because it’s preventable. Its illegal to buy narcotics; Period. If you have a valid reason for needing a narcotic, a doctor WILL #prescribe it to you! If you obtain narcotics from an “un-regulated source” with the expectation that “regulated practices” are being utilized….That’s not reasonable. DO NOT TAKE MEDICATION that has not been #prescribed TO YOU, by a medical professional! This breaks my heart
