Unfortunately the show took her from a strong person who wanted justice and was willing to sacrifice her goals and everything she had worked for to fight for all of the people and save them from the undead. She was also her most happy, peaceful, and hopeful person in the first two episodes thanks to her moral compass Jon Snow, sadly they had to make her go full psycho two episodes later.

Jon should have kept silent but Jon didn't betray Dany when he told his sisters. He straight up told Dany he was going to tell them and why -- and swore them to secrecy. Dany wasn't simply asking for a favour from Jon, she was asking him to lie to his own family forever about _his_ identity, a huge source of angst. But I agree, Jon's big mistake was trusting Sansa. He shouldn't have. Only Dany is responsible for her actions, nobody else. Only she has control over her choices. She knew better, she knew not to take it out on the civilians by massacring them all after they surrendered. Jon tried giving her another chance, Jon never wanted to kill Dany, but Dany refused the prospect of mercy. He can't just let her burn the world. Additonally, unless Dany wanted to be queen of the zombies and become a zombie herself, it was also in her interest to defeat the Night King. She came to Westeros to help the people, and one of the threats to those people is the Night King. She wasn't just doing the North a favour. They were her people now since Jon gave his crown to her.

This scene perfectly portrays Aegon the Conqueror's dream. The power of the winds of winter, the army of the dead. How those sweeping winds will kill everyone. It also explains why he said when those winds come a Targaryen must be on the throne. Thus the whole a Targaryen must be on the throne bit. What Aegon should have said was a Targaryen dragon rider must be on the throne. Lol I refuse to believe the Night King got Viserion. The prophecy that drove Rhaegar said the dragon must have 3 heads. So I don't think that Dany brought 3 dragons into the world is a coincidence. Or that suddenly there is revealed not only another Targaryen but a dragon rider (Jon). I hope in the upcoming book she keeps her dragons and a third Targ is revealed, and the three ride their dragons against the dead. In any case, Martin has said his upcoming book is different from how the show ended. Thank god!

I love how she sacrificed herself, her whole cause, and her goddamn children without a second thought to save people with whom she had no obligation to, just to snap at the very last fuckin second end up slaughtering them them all 😃👍🏼 idc if there were hints throughout the show that she’d might do this, it was needed to hook the audience in by keeping them guessing. the “plot twist” was still terrible and unnecessary. Daenerys was no more brutal or unreasonable than any of the other characters in the show. All the “clues” we were supposed to accept as signs of madness didn’t work. When Sansa watched Ramsey brutally attacked by his dogs, she wasn’t seen as mad, but Daenerys watching Viserys die was considered a sign of madness. The fact that she couldn’t escape her Jack-In-The Box genes is just poor storytelling.

fun fact is the Targaryen dragons would never fly past the wall before Daenerys's dragons finally did. One of Danys ancestors tried flying her dragon past the wall and the dragon refused no matter how many times she tried. Its like the dragons could always magically sense the white walkers were coming because both creatures are magical. So the dragons knew better to fly into their territory and risk getting killed.

@CardinalFanSince

Sansa becoming Queen in the end honestly pisses me off. When it comes to retaking Winterfell from the Boltons, Jon did most of the heavy lifting and dirty work. Not only that, but she also blatantly withheld information from Jon about more incoming men to help them. Battle plans and strategies could've been redrawn, better chance at winning, etc. The current plans they had, they had a slim chance, and she basically sent Jon off to die. She then has the nerve to claim she won the battle of the battle of the bastards. Jon becomes King in the North. He was a pretty good King for the short while that he was. Every decision that he made as King, ultimately only ever benefited the North. There really isn't one thing you can point to that he did, that had negative ramifications to the North. Yet Sansa bitched and moan, criticizing Jon at almost everything. The bitch even tried to bring up Joffrey as a comparison for Jon not listening to her. Daenerys comes North to save them and ultimately the entire 7 Kingdoms. Yet once she arrived, she was met with Sansa being bitchy and snarky towards her. The North lacked the proper army to face the Night King, Daenerys did. The North lacked the materials to kill White Walkers, Daenerys did. The North doesn't have fire breathing dragons, fire kills White Walkers, Daenerys has 3. Etc. Daenerys didn't have to come North to save them. She could've chosen to remain focus on Cersei, leaving the North to fend for themselves against the oncoming Night King. The North would be lost, but it'll only be temporary. Wins the Iron Throne, unite the 7 Kingdoms and then faces the Night King with a much larger and better army. I can't recall Sansa ever displaying genuine thankfulness towards Daenerys. Seriously, what has Sansa ever done except be shitty to people and hide away while other people did the heavy lifting and dirty work? The only thing she has is the Stark name.

Why did they have to go make the dragons so vulnerable, even to weaken their fire against an ice storm. They’re freakin dragons, a force of nature, the NK army is nothing compared to the dragons. this dragon scene is beautiful 0:27 - 1:13 These are preferably my favorite parts at the moment, it's crazy you to think that a long time ago a dragon went to the north and that it's killing several zombies but at the same time this scene shows a bit of stupidity on the part of Dany and Jon. instead of spitting fire so randomly, they could spit fire in queue mode, maybe that would make it easier, in the case of spitting fire in a zig zag, until the number of zombies that arrive in the troops of the immaculate and the north were less overwhelming and the fight would be easier to fight, that's how I think. and about that blizzard out of nowhere, Jon and Dany could have landed somewhere safe like Jon lands later, and go smoldering with the zombies that get close

My personal ending: The North loses the battle at Winterfell; all survivors head south to Kings Landing. Beaten and Bruised, hungry and with no supplies, they’re desperate. Cersei allows them in, on one condition, all have to bend the knee. Seeing no choice and to save her people Dany gives up the one thing she longed for, the iron throne. Jon and Dany marry privately as with no kingdom, Dany would be the wife of warden of the north, a position of power. Night King comes south, and brans goes into wog state; and the real battle begins. Humans losing badly, and Brans comes back with key to kill night king. The wierwood tree of Winterfell must be destroyed; as that was the tree where night king was made, the source of his power. Jon, takes Regal goes north immediately, Dany follows on Drogon. Arrive at Winterfell Jon and Knight King has sword fight of the century; Jon is mortally wounded, and nearly dies and night king tries to stop Dany from destroying tree. She stabs tree with dragon glass and drogon burns tree. Arya uses he skills and kills night king. Jon sadly dies in Danys arms. After the war, with no one left Dany takes the Throne. Five years later, Dany visits Queen of North Sansa; and while she is placing candle and feather on Jon’s tomb, the Queen Dany cried uncontrollably; after a bit, she walk to the exit composing herself. The Queen then yells out, come along Jon, and a four year boy comes running to his mother, and Prince Jon hugs her. That is your father my love, she says; a great King and warrior, and savior of the world she says. The boy and prince will be the heir of the Iron Throne, rightful ruler of the seven kingdoms. Done!
