I was stationed in Japan and was fortunate enough to witness Kato win the 2000 Suzuka 8 hour. I remember doing the pit pass thing and meeting a lot of the riders. When I met Kato I didn’t speak Japanese and he didnt speak english but I got such a positive vibe off him, he seem liked the nicest dude in the world. I’ll never forget. I was bummed that Edwards didn’t win, but looking back now I’m so glad Kato did and that I could witness such a special day for that young man. RIP Kato san!

I'm not sure. I was a big Kato fan. His 2001 250 season is one of the most dominant in history and in his debut motogp season he showed promise. But i think the 1000cc bikes might've been too big for him. He faced the same problem as Pedrosa later on. Incredibly talented and fast, but not build for these machines.

Indeed he was, you're right. A mistake by the producers, to which I have to say "thank you" for not removing this video so far ... :D

This happened right before i began watching Motogp religeously at Mugello 2003. Because of Faster, i finally understand why Daijiro meant so much.

I had a copy of Faster and Faster & Faster but lost them. I cannot find Faster & Faster anywhere on the web. WTF? It's like it didn't even exist. It's the sequel to Faster but wiki doesn't even have it listed as one of Ewen McGregor's credits. All it has is Faster and Fastest. Someone tell me where this is.
