In today's lofi beat I wanted to create something as wonky and off grid as possible while keeping a groove. The layered snare and claps technique worked well and is something I'll probably add to my beat toolbox for future sessions.

Join me on this rhythmical exploration as I challenge myself to create a beat 5 days a week for 30 days.
My only goal is to create a beat (drums only), then build an arrangement in 55 minutes.
Discover the creative process behind each beat, the genres I'm exploring, the techniques I'm learning, and watch as I (hopefully) improve my beat making & arrangement skills over time.
My approach to every beat: No mixing, no plugins-just faders. I select the samples, arrange them in time, balance the levels, structure the track, and then bounce it.
