Quick demonstration of the transbrake integration on my Volvo 240 (with Jake's D3 transbrake 4L80e). I had some requirements with this car that had to be met.
- The car must look as standard as possible, inside and out
- The transmission must automatically shift for street driving, and drag usage
- I don't want to hold a button to reverse the car
- No curly cords or additional buttons on the steering wheel
- Ability to release the transbrake while both hands are on the wheel
- Bump button to help with staging
- No aftermarket ECU. Must all be possible with LS1B/P59
Requirements are met, and without spending much money!
