Love this! I had been doing something similar over the years, but I have to admit I shamelessly stole your cute little rainbow colored chart idea last year. LOL. Thanks for sharing it! Rainbow charts make us happy over here.

@@MakingEverydayMagic Yes! You made it so simple! I tend to overthink the scheduling and psych myself out. As always, thank you for the breakdown!

I'm definitely a work smarter not harder kinda gal. If it's too hard or not fun, I know I won't follow through. Certainly not for a whole year.

Thank you for this video and all the others! They have been so helpful as I prepare to start my first year homeschooling my 2nd grader. You mentioned typing practice on Fridays, what do you use for that?

My girls love Typetastic. It's a free website. We also use and love a program from our 2nd grade kit that the name is escaping me. It's a role play typing game.

Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been needing someone to walk through how they plan out their flows and schedules. What do you use for coding?

Are you doing all of History Quest on one day ? Or are you talking longer than a year to go through it ?

We will do what we did last year, the actual lesson and map/coloring/encyclopedia together on Mondays and any extra as we want to through the week.
