Really cool to see this all coming together to be able to look at drivers like this. Also really cool to see how Dale was always trending upwards even with his struggles in the 90s and how quickly he bounced back up

I'm fascinated to see how this is gonna look for Denny Hamlin. Those 10000+ career races are gonna be hard to track, right? 😂

I would be interested in the Labonte brothers! This is so cool to see entire careers like this!

Nice work on this stuff. Super interesting. Be nice to see a comparison of Junior and Kenseth throughout their careers.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway would've been Bryar Motorsports Park, and strictly a road course before they built NHMS. Actually met him there last year at NHMS, he never liked going there because he didn't have the motor for that track.

Would love to see Kasey Kahne's irating. Would be interesting to see which years were his peak. I also wonder for if modern drivers there could be a different color on the graph for each different team the driver was on thru their career. Think Larson with Ganassi vs Larson with Hendrick. To see it visually on the graph with different colors.

I think a cool thing you could show is every Cup champion's career on a line graph where each line represents X's career and points on the graph of when they won a championship and seeing how their IR increased/decreased over their career starts. Be cool to see who had the highest IR vs lowest IR when winning a championship, how their IR changed during the championship runs vs outside of those, and so on

Kimmel's biggest loss being in a Winston West race at Kansas in 2002 is pretty random, lap 1 crash finishing last in a mediocre 22 car field. Not quite what I was expecting. Also Wayne Peterson's stats are insane, as expected lol. Fun to note that he is recorded as having started 118 races in ARCA and running at the finish in a grand total of.. four.

Wayne Peterson, seems to me like the man is made money and just liked racing cars.. those 2021 starts he would have been 80+ years old!? He must have been in the type of ARCA equipment that gets lapped on like the 10th lap of a race. I went back and watched a few mins of that 2021 Kansas ARCA race.. sure enough, there’s Wayne. Think of the stories he gets to tell his grandkids, ha

Also makes me think of comparing irating based on “team tier”, how irating compared between drivers when they were on Low/Mid Tier teams. How much did irating improve (or not) when they went to Top Tier teams.

Interesting as he'll. But you say Dale lost irating in Busch isn't that because he didn't run all the races?
@kneebon5

Thats not how iraring works, you have to be in the race to gain or lose
