Thanks for watching. Not everyone in the family is as into the hunting aspect as Steph and I but we defiantly all enjoy the adventure and the outdoors together. Someday I'll be following Hunter and Bruce out into the woods.

New sub and enjoying these older videos and catching up. Was curious what kind of tents those were in your spike camp? Would love to see gear videos, end to end processing of your fish/bear/sheep/berries etc... videos. Maybe get on Patreon so we can support you. You could have more 'training' type of videos over there. We really like your videos, great editing/narrating and the length of the video is always perfect. This will really help with learning how to hunt/camp/outdoors. Wondering if you guys are sick of subway yet with owning one? :) Thanks and God Bless!

It's hard to get tired of Subway, lol. The tents are River Country Products Trekker 2.2, two person (Amazon under $70). They work great but need a coat of water proffer once a year. I'd consider some-how too videos but it seems like there's never enough time! I'm mostly making these for the family to look back on. Thanks for watching, you gave me quite a bit to think about.

What stood out most in this video was everyone's positive attitudes. Your wife and kids always had smiles, everyone was doing something (operating orvs, cooking, chopping firewood, climbing hills, etc) and working as a team vs sitting around camp, bored and miserable. You looked comfortable in your wilderness setting.. To come out with meat and a nice set of horns to commemorate your efforts seems fitting. Nicely done!

NYC, that's great! I visited back in 2003 but I haven't made it back yet. A few years ago we all visited Ellis and Liberty Island. Told the kids next time we'd check it out next time.

Hands down this is probably the best hunting video I’ve watched in a very long time . A family out enjoying the wilds and each other in the remote back country . The success of a ram is merely the icing on the cake , this family living the dream is what it’s all about . You are blessed to do this , these are memories that will last forever . Great ram as well .

Love watching your family adventures. Hunter did great on his shot. Maybe look into a 7mm-08 for him. It has a little more behind it with a good B.C. and have about the same felt recoil.

Why do people who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground, have to try and educate people who know more than they will ever know! Beaver Fever??? He has to be kidding. You would need Beavers for that to start with, pretty sure not a whole lot of Beavers out there. I have drank water from ditches, and ponds, that would make a cesspool look clean, when your dry and your in the middle of a long hot hunt, you don't care, guess what? Never been sick one day in my life from any gastrinal issues from drinking the water/dirt soup! Doing just fine, Enjoy the video!

Best comment I've gotten to date! Thank you. I'm just making these for me and the family. Don't care if the videos are "too" long or popular or any of that. There's a lot of hunting material out there, these are just family videos that we're happy to share with like minded folks. Thanks again!

Umm I’m pretty sure you shot two different sheep. The first one you broke it’s front leg. The second one had nothing wrong with its front legs.
@growingupalaskan

LOL If you could see the raw footage (or had been there) it's clearly the same sheep. There were three rams, the bigger two left to the right, we shot the 3rd which moved left. We spotted the other two sheep on the way out. Same ram but it's worth noting that Alaska Fish and Game explicitly tells hunters that dall sheep often show no signs of being mortally or otherwise wounded. The backside of that rams knee was blown out and it had been shot in the lungs but it was still hiking around like everything was good.
