Housing should easily see another 50 percent correction, especially in tx AZ and other states where California buyers have inflated the prices

Not sure about 50%, home values have dropped nationwide but For DFW 50% is insane. Even in the Great Recession SFH values dropped 19% and this crash is just a fraction of what happened in 2008.

Nah, 50% is a pipe dream unfortunately. Im a lender and market savvy to know where this is going, you will continue to see pain in housing comes 2023, but nothing remotely crazy like a -50% going out of business Macy sale. Sorry! plus all the savvy peeps are sitting on alot of $$$ I know, I’m one of them.. Nice, dialed in homes in great communities with good school districts will continue to sell in any market..

@@lifeindallastexass I know. You're in for a surprise this time around. The ISDA contracts and MBS in 2008 were 1 twentieth of what they are today. I was also a RE broker in 2008. We ain't seen nothing yet

When 30 to 50% increase in last 2 years, why should not be there atleast 20% crash and lumber prices down by 70%. In prosper, TX houses were costing mid 400's in 2020 same uper 700's, still after reduced prices its 650k+, which does not make sense.. it should come around mid 500's or lower

No more price increase for a while. Fed said long haul . Rates going up next month. Time to buy is when rates are 3% and avg cost is 358K for a single family home. 👪

You are wrong! DFW market is on the downside. Most New home builders in the DFW is selling off their entire inventory. They are discounting all their spec homes by 20%. If you paid 600k in July for a new home. Someone can by that same home from the builder for close to 500k

ofc she gonna say this.....she is a real estate agent....I don't think she has any background in finance and economics to really dissect the feds decision. Shes pretty thoe...She's in for a surprise...wait for the layoffs. Its either that or hyperinflation. as investors buy at decreased prices, its driving the comps lower....its only a matter of time. I've heard, this is DALLAS...we dodged the 08 recession, we will be ok. It stiill went down by about 20%. That 20% equity could be a person's entire life savings just GONE

They dropped because they hiked too far. The correction is still above last year's prices. Inventory is still lower.

Property tax rate in TX is crazy high and valuation is sometime overly lender friendly which is good when prices are going up

Property taxes are high but we don’t have state income tax. There is also options to lower your property tax, some of the people don’t mind because it goes to their schools and roads etc which all in all helps their city

Good vid 🤙🏼 Its fear, its the economy forecast with potential layoffs on the horizon , it’s psychological, plus your more savvy clients are typically out there looking for a good deal with time to wait … I’m a lender myself, I’m actually heading out to prosper with my fam in Jan to check out some new construction along with that lagoon community you did a vid on awhile back, that place was incredible! along with other recommended masterplan communities. Price range 800ish, mostly cash, maybe a loan for 100-250k
