I never thought that Clayton was a interesting character. He was only there to pair up Miss Ellie after Jock died. Then again, nobody could fill Jock Ewing’s shoes or Jim Davis’. The Jock Ewing character was such a force to be reckoned with, that even his memory and legacy fueled Show until Dallas went off the air 10 years after Jim Davis passed away. That amazing oil portrait of Jock Ewing had such a presence that it was almost as if Jock was physically present. Jock’s always upstaged Clayton and stood as a reminder that Jock Ewing still was the head of the entire Ewing family and the rightful owner of South Fork Ranch. Dallas is still an amazing seres even 40 years after it first aired on CBS April 2nd 1978

Gary Ewing, and Sue Ellen Ewing are acoholics for the love of god. They both have fallen off the wagon. They both showed how vulnerable they were in the Season 2 Episode 8 at JR's funeral, and everything when Cliff Barnes showed up out of nowhere. But even with as bas as JR treated Sue Ellen, her being an acholic is on HER, not him! She can't blame JR, or John Ross for that, and the fact that she did blame both of them for her decision is messed up.

This scene right here is my Sue Ellen should’ve never gotten custody of John Ross, now we can’t blame her for not knowing that John Ross was in the hospital but then showing up to the hospital drunk that should’ve shown right there that she was an unfit mother no no judge in his right mind would give Suellen custody it never made sense to me how she got custody of him in season nine and again in season 12. Jr shouldn’t have had custody either he was with Mandy when John Ross was in the hospital

I don't remember Gary drinking in Season 12. Unless you mean that time when Danny Waleska attacked him and forced the alcohol down his throat while Gary was almost unconscious and tried to kill him making it look like Gary crashed his car while driving drunk. But that wasn't Gary's choice.

Actually, alcoholics need to learn to still live with alcohol around them including liquor in the house and other people drinking, it’s part of the recovery process and disciplining themselves to not weaken and resist it.
