One things I never questioned: Sue Ellen's and JR.'s love for John Ross!

All credit to Omri Katz - a very good child actor, I always loved his scenes with JR and Sue Ellen. Shame he couldn't carry it on into adulthood; he could have become a big star. This is a nice scene; just sad that Sue Ellen is leaving. The one thing the DALLAS producers didn't seem to realise was that the male characters only worked because the female characters were so strong. Cally was an insipid, weak substitute for Sue Ellen - she really was the epitome of the DALLAS woman. SO LONG!

The reason why this season started out strong was because Linda was on the show.Once she said in January 1989 she was leaving sue Ellen just became a secondary charator. At least she finally got the SOB!!..

In the reboot DOn Lockwood was never mentioned? Or was he? Curious if they addressed her seperation from him like they did in the reunion films which the reboot totally ignored.

Sue Ellen has made me pround she went from a drunk to a independent woman. She had her faluts and failors but she pull herself up and overcame them.

Reo Langster She was THE reason I watched the show because her character, next to J.R., was the best and she was the most beautiful woman on the show. The writer’s showed their narrow mindedness on her character that either she was drinking or they had no other interesting storylines for her. No wonder she left the show.

Does the 'Oil Barons' club' make special allowances for Ewing children to eat there? I've never seen a child seated at any of the other tables in previous episodes.

TheJaking87 Just because you never saw it doesn’t mean it never occurred. Maybe J.R. or the Ewing’s in general were good friends with the restaurant owner or maybe Sue Ellen got special permission to dine with John Ross in the show’s restaurant, which by the way, is not the Oil Barron’s Ball.

Im confused as to why on the new Dallas it hasnt explained how long Sue Ellen has been back in Dallas and when her mariage apparently ended to Don Lockwood? Or did i miss that? I know it was explained in JR Returns but the new series ignores the reunion films so that cant be where the explination should be. Anyone have any ideas?
