I miss the old Dalyan. Been there 5 times, stayed at my brother’s place and loved this small town. Haven’t been there for 6 years now and don’t know what I’m seeing…….this is not my beloved Dalyan anymore……😢

VILLAGE??? It WAS a village without any tourist rubbish in the eighties. Alas, by "Kaptan June's" great fight against a hotel on Iztuzu Beach the place became "famous" because of "Caretta Caretta" and not only tourists but also a lot of greedy people were attracted and changed the once quiet place completely... For me, this walk looks like one in Side or Antalya... 😢

Dalyan changed. Way to modern….I prefer the old way things used to be. LOCALS and not the rich from the big cities collecting all the money 💰

Exactly. I am glad I can say I know the quiet charming village of the eighties. Only a few bars and no Chinese restaurants... 😉

Those who come to Dalyan for the first time find this place very beautiful and are impressed. On the other hand, dalyan is the most expensive place in Turkey after Göcek. Never eat pita from the green blue pide shop, it's incredibly expensive.
