This film illustrates Edith Cowan University's commitment to providing a learning environment which values and encourages Indigenous Australians to grow to their full potential.
To this end, ECU developed a Reconciliation Action Plan which seeks to translate the University's vision for reconciliation into a series of Reflection Spaces across its campuses to reinforce the message of 'you are welcome here' to all Indigenous people.
Cultural Reflection Space 'Dambart Bilya' (meaning 'Three Rivers' in Noongar Language), is located on ECU's South West campus in Bunbury, Western Australia. It reflects Wardandi Aboriginal culture by incorporating stories and elements of cultural significance to the local Wardandi people. The Dambart Bilya Cultural Reflection Space was inaugurated on the 31st October, 2018.
