Look deep into a potential partner's history on how they have dont business with others. Dont just hand out money. Be a credit bureau. And if he hasn't done it yet, have a typed or prepared CONTRACT so he and his partner can both sign it in PERSON. A court will force the other party to cough up the money agreed.

DAM DASH is the truth, he is the real success story from all our hoods, never mind jayz, and all other rappers that made it. Heres a regular guy who didnt have talent of no kind, only talent he had was the talent of FLIPPIN, and from the hood he made all the way to hollywood and has become a force to rekon with. Researchin his life i can see what made him who he is and the cloth he is cut from. #1He is from harlem, harlem is a place that when you grow up there you are just different, its the energy and the swag you inherit,#2 He comes from a good family, both mom and dad were there, this has been key, #3 He has the hunger to always have the best, another key quality. So to wrap it up, Dam has been the real success story that us men from my generation can say, thats that dude, the buck of poverty and stress stopped with him, after him all his kidz are graduets and his grandkidz will follow suit, etc,etc, this is how you start wealth in a family and keep the drip fillin the bucket after you leave....

Dame Dash Is telling the truth about how our culture,and the way certain people do business , and treat one another. I'm sure many black businessmen & business woman will follow suit by taking his advice on how one should do business, and how we all should treat one another. It's the principals that are violated as well as broken trust in all phases not only business. I tip my hat to you Dame Dash for stepping forward. Peace...!

That's true, but we're talking about hout our own people treat one another. You're 100% right and I would do the same, but how are we as a Black people always doing dirt to each other? When you look out for you people they shit on you , but if you turn your back on them then people wanna call you a sellout on you race. You have to have trust to build a relationship in business as much as having a friendship, etc... I would love to see my people rise as a whole, just like other races do. Why do we have to be last in everything, Why is it so much self hatred among our people?
@johnervinjr
6 жыл бұрын
You have a point, But if Black people don't help each other... meaning !!! Stop thinking about themselves and hating on anyone that's trying to make it in life whatever they're trying to strive to become.I don't judge Black men and woman because they drive nice cars, dress well, live in big houses, I judge my Black people according to their moral compass,and character. How they treat one another with dignity, and respect is worth more than fame, and wealth. I don't have the time to keep up with the jone's I stay in my own lane, and even if I was living that life, I would still do business the right way. I would never take from anyone without giving back. If you can't stand on your word, then you're not an honest man or honest woman, And many people can't stand to be around honest people, because they know how truthful honest people are. The TRUTH HURTS...!!!

Damn talk about the $11mil you stole from beans. The $11mil you were found liable for taking in court. Speak on that. Speak on how you were using Roc-a-fella business accounts for personal trips Speak on you never paying Curren$y when he was signed to you

Jay got the Picasso idea and buying art from Dame. That’s very clear. Jay still uses Dame as a hustlers blueprint. Jay just doesn’t tell the public that Jay is studying Dame. Respect to #DameDash

Once upon a time rocafella records was destined to take over whitey saw it coming,,, pulled jay z to the side and offered him a deal he couldn’t refuse to turn on his homies,,,, and don’t feed me that camron president shit bcuz at the least that could have been squashed with a conversation if we really brothers...???? Shiiittt ( 2 country’s can come together for a peace treaty) why the fuck can’t 2 supposedly brothers?

Forrest Gump bro if you ever heard any interviews from dame, Biggs or jay, u would have heard them say they started the roc with the intentions on selling it later down the line. Once the roc was over and they went separate ways it’s been clear who’s been better in business.

Marvin Santana what would u call a person who doesn’t know but don’t like Jay? Are they haters or dick eaters? Or would they be Dame stans? I never understood hating someone cause their successful and good at something. That has to be the only reason cause you don’t really know these people. I don’t know dame or jay or Biggs so I can just go off of facts and the facts are all 3 of them put their money up and started the roc. Jay doing the music dame the business and Biggs more of a silent investor who played the back. In 2004 they sold Roc-A-Fella and went their separate ways. jay wasn’t cutting dame or Biggs no checks so how could he have cheated them? U never heard of dame suing jay z or saying he owe him money his issue with jay is he thought they were better friends and it wasn’t just business. He actually said it in this interview. If he made jay it’s been 15 years since the breakup and he hasn’t done anything that has had the impact that the roc had. Even Biggs has been successful after the roc and a prison bid and him and jay still on good terms. Y’all deal with emotions like bitches and at the end of the day it’s business and them 3 did great business together. Maybe dame should of rapped

Forrest Gump Look at the Biggs interview on Rap Radar. He said they always planned to sell Roc-A-Fella from the jump. They actually sold it a few years before the break up but Def Jam didn't pay the full sum so they did an extension. They all knew it was ending.
