Not living in Jamaica but if I were there he would've surely received my vote. It's time that we stop voting party and vote for the person that is much more likely to take us into economic freedom, where all classes of people can live.

Never sat and listen to his ideology before, and I like how he thinks. We need politician like him that see the big picture and is forward in their thinking. Mr Crawford I support you, forget about the party affiliation. It's time Jamaicans start elect the right person for the job, and stop voting along party line.

I am NOT a fan of the PNP but I have to say this man has the right philosophy. If the party was 50% of them like him maybe Jamaica would be in a better situation. The smart and productive in Jamaica are vastly outnumbered by the ignorant and lazy.

He needs to teach and promote ENTREPRENEURSHIP in Jamaica as well. We produce very little of the goods and services we consume in Jamaica. If we could produce even half of the goods and services we use in Jamaica we would be on par with the richer countries in the Caribbean.

Character, ethics, virtues, with sufficiency, cultivate those, to reduce crime, as well as, dealing with the words and thoughts that we introduce into the hearts of the youths through music, media / movies, and the things we say and do. Let's take the engineering of the minds of our youths and ours, as a very serious affair. Not just program to eat bread but program for life, of industry, creativity, character, ethics, abundance, and peace among ourselves and our neighbours. I have rethinked the prison offer, and have drawn some of the similar conclusions, after the recent rash of muders a other violent offenses andba chance to see the conditions of the prisons, in Jamaica and in England. It certainly could create a better situation for all concerned. Inspite of how it might look, its a win, win for everybody.

I start by saying nuff respect Damion. You are clearly very intelligent. However in respect of the building of prison in Jamaica by the British in order to return Jamaicans to serve their sentence, you have failed to highlight the positives of being incarcerated in a british prison. such as, prisoners been giving the chance to work, educate them selves and learn a trade. I know of situation where prisoners send gift and money to there love ones from being bars, this intern helps the Jamaican economy. please also keep in mind that not all Jamaicans locked up in the UK are hardened criminal. you state that " a prisoner would love to have some rice and peas delivered by a family member and to receive regular visits as well", what about those who have family members in the UK ie kids, wife etc, wouldn't they like a visit from them also? I emplore to look at the bigger picture, this is not just about helping Jamaica. It is about bringing Jamaica down further because those who serve their sentence here in the UK are less likely to offend when sent home than those currently imprisoned In Jamaica. I ask that you do not fall for the same trick the British used to enslave us hundreds of years ago. Open your eyes mr. minister, open your eyes.

Crawford is bright n artificial n articulate is his speeches but he have no idea what reparation means. Reparation is less than 1% money, the word REPARATION means repair , educational restructure, language, land reform, they must be a agreement sign, that what happened, must not happen again ,then we can talk about ( money)
