Dan Auerbach, one of the few rockstars that still looks like he actually feels his music.

Yeah, things have changed since then. Saw these guys tour this album. I think he's sold completely out and gone flat in my opinion. The Arcs are a joke.

I love his ALber King style of bending, very nice. Dan Auerbach is hands down the coolest guitarist on modern radio. I have a channel on Pandora for the Black Keys, and no one else on there is playing as good as him.

Cool! I don't have things that I wear neccessarily; my enviornment really plays on my emotional / artistic state when I'm designing, I need things to be a certain way. Ya know I've been in several all-out senseless arguments on youtube (much to my disgust), and I'm glad this never devolved into that kind of situation. I am an artist (eventhough its not my profession), but I'm not a musician, so I don't know how you guys relate to art, so thanks for allowing me to say I learned something today.

totally. You're an artist you understand how important being in the " zone " is. For me, if every variable isn't exact I can't focus on writing. I even have certain things I wear every time I write etc.

Dan Auerbach is the black keys. He just has a bad ass drummer when he's playing as them. He also has creative constraints though. To fit the mold of the black keys and satisfy the mass appeal thats become expected of them means he can only write certain types of songs. The song "Home" comes to mind. It's brilliant, but would never make a black keys album

I'm just hoping he tours his solo stuff because I never got to see him perform it live in 09'. Don't you want to see him play this song live? He can't with the black keys unless maybe by special request haha

Hey wait, let me ask and I guess your gonna think I'm totally stupid, but like you mentioned and like I said, no I'm not a musician, but I've been drawing my whole life and I even went to art school. And once upon a time I used to sing not exactly professionally, but..anywho. So I see what you're saying if you're a musician singin' about something sultry as this song is and sultry can be defined as hot & humid Dan puts on all these clothes to get that sultry, bluesy, "monsoon-y" feeling yeah??
