This rules. Thanks Dan. I've found surprising little on honing your time in a bluegrass context online.

I've been playing electric for almost 30 years and being thrust into the world of upright for upcoming bluegrassy-folk gigs. Great lesson covering a lot of areas but focusing on the fundamentals. Much appreciated!

Really good primer about bluegrass bass. Lays out a strong foundation. I’m at a intermediate level and this addressed a lot of questions I have. Really like how you explain using scales as building blocks. I’ve spent a lot of my time working on scales after struggling with fingerings and intonation. It really makes a difference for everything you need to build a solid bass line. Thanks!

Dude!!! Thanks so so much. Been playing a year now 100% bluegrass. Got just about everything down via the 1-5. Now I’m looking to do some occasional walk ups and downs. I’m just at a level where this all makes sense and you made it easy. Thanks again sir. Keep up the vids.

Glad I found this as I was trying to remember some of the things you said at Megan Lynches James camp in 2022. Was a great camp!

Like Bluegrass, very partial to the kind in minor and Modal keys. Don't really know why I do....and I wanna know why.

Actually it is neither, it’s a Pfretzshner, and I can barely spell it!
