Orlovsky!!!! Ive been wanting to find highlights of him too! His throwing motion was kind of weird, that's why i loved watching him. Thank you sm, great vid as always!!

This is one of my favorite KZitem sites. Great clips I love it. Orlovsky played for Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay, & Detroit again. Good size, threw a nice ball, seems like an intelligent football guy. The year he started his most games, the 0-16 year, the Lions quarterback room was Orlovsky (0-7), Kitna (0-4), Duante Culpepper (0-5), Drew Stanton, & Drew Henson. I have no idea why I know that or remembered it. (I did look up there records though)

Sadly, he had the physical tools. But as you can see from his work as an analyst, he was too stupid to play quarterback.

Hey I mean obviously Dan wasn’t great but I’ll take this over some random nerd who’s never played football who talks about it on live tv like an expert. Dan actually has some valuable knowledge of how players may be thinking. He literally went through the worst of the worst in football so he definitely has some stories and overall knowledge even if is knowledge about bad experiences. Because a lot of the time players are in bad situations and he must know how it feels and that is good insight and I don’t mind him in the media what so ever.

This highlight reel was like a comedy sketch. 1st off, they were getting blown out in every clip. 2nd, he was throwing the ball to Megatron and Reggie Wayne?!? A High School quarterback could get 150 yards throwing to those 2 lol

Say what you want, but Dan is a great guy. Regardless you have to respect anyone that can play in the national football league as a professional ball player. Doesn’t mean the guy is a piece of work human being. I like Dan, give him credit.

Dan Orlovsky was always a backup quarterback for different teams, so he was a journeyman who could throw the ball in the air. After he retired from professional football, he became an analyst for ESPN network television.

The game vs the Vikings where he stepped out of bounds and took a safety, they ultimately lost the game by 2 points... who knows what happens if he doesn't step out. At that point, the 2008 Lions were 0-4, they could've been 1-4 which is a lot different than being 0-5. But ultimately they became the first team to go 0-16 in a season.
