I agree with pretty much everything you said. For anyone who didn't like this performance, it helps if you put this all into perspective. Daneliya is 13 years old. From Kazakhstan. English is not her main language and she still had a translator helping her in interviews less than a year ago. Have you ever seen any video production and vocals of this quality from ANY other 13 year old - EVER? If you have, that would be an extremely small and exclusive group. This was her 1st English original song. Are the lyrics in this song perfect? No they're not. That is something her team will hopefully learn from. Oh, and did I mention that she is only 13 years old... and from Kazakhstan? WOW! She is simply amazing. She is experimenting with genres/musical styles right now, and as she matures and her English improves, she is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Fine comment Ian! I'm followed Daneliya about four Years. I'm watched and listened many of her performances. This song, I think, It's not bad not good, but still Her first own song in english language and that's fine thing! Daneliya is very good, She is one of The Best kidsinger in The world! (My opinion) She is done many different performances from different musicgenres! People have to also listen Her other performances, so they can better understand how talented singer She is! I like to listen Her songs very much!

I truly believe the lyrics are just her talking to herself (in broken English), the conflict she's feeling inside, being a thirteen-year-old. She'll get through it. This is an amazing song and video. Thanks for reacting.

Great production values. Kazakhstan has a very old musical/artistic tradition, but it was like 18th century stuff. Wind instruments & ballroom dancing. They're having a renaissance. So it's not perfect--the point is, it's a huge leap from where they've been. As I write this, Daneliya's *new* *song* 'Fire' is premiering in 14 hours here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sq53voGtiGujqXo

Danelya is a great singer and beautiful young girl and I predict she will go far, You are right about surrounding yourself with good people and you certainly can't get better than Dimash.. They are good friends and he is her mentor. If you would when she was 10 she was in an event in Kazakhstan and sang a song, with love from Kazakhstan Je Veux. it's unbelieveable

In Daneliya's audition on The Voice Kids Ukraine (where she sang "Stone Cold") which has been viewed more than 49 million times, Natalia (the most experienced judge) tells Daneliya: "Concerning my experience, I can tell you that music school is very valuable and useful, but there are artists, nuggets. talents. These schools and producers as well have no right to transform the style of their performing. You are a stunning and unique artist. In no case, should we teach you anything. You just need to choose a good song. Furthermore, I believe that you will choose it by yourself." I wish that Daneliya would listen to those words 49 million times.

Everyone has trouble saying her name. Here it is pronounced slowly by a professional announcer: kzitem.info/news/bejne/jo-lqqefm6mrdn4&t=90 Her first name is Da-NEL-iya. Kazakh names seem to nearly always have a slight emphasis on the last syllable. In Daneliya's case, her parents had a hard time deciding on a name. When she was nearly a month old, they decided to name her Danel, and filled out a birth certificate application under the name "Danel Aleksandrovna Tuleshova" but, for unknown reasons, the clerk in Astana (now NurSultan) spelled her first name "Daneliya" (using Cyrillic letters, of course). Her parents were fine with the mistake, though. So Danel became Daneliya, although the emphasis is still placed on the last syllable of her originally-intended name of "Danel." Her close friends call her Dania. One story of her name (in Russian) is here: baigenews.kz/news/mama_danelii_tuleshovoi_stsenicheskoe_imya_poyavilos_izza_oshibki_v_svidetelstve_o_rozhdenii/ I've always wondered if that clerk in the Birth Certificates office in Astana now realizes that he or she named one of the most famous singers in the world.

Hurray! Dimash in London. I was there, but I haven't seen the whole concert afterwards. It was magical, though he was a little sick and it wasn't too long after the recording of the World's Best competition. When it comes to Daneliya, I think she have lost some of her distinctive character and become a bit like Rihanna. Looking forward to Dimash. Have a nice day.

As far as I know, Dimash was not sick in London. Perhaps you thought so, because Dimash very imperfectly performed SOS there. Because he cried on stage, dedicating this song to his murdered friend, Olympian champion Denis Ten. They planned to perform this song together at this concert, but fate decreed otherwise.

I agree 100% with Lisa Putman. I love her voice, but not a fan of this song... or the video. I find that there is usually a song or two out of any of the artists that I love, that I'm just not a big fan of. That said, @Wolf Rock , if you'd like to step outside the norm for your reaction videos, I'd like to make a suggestion. Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa - I'll Take Care Of You. Beth seduced me with her voice the first time I heard her, and Joe on the guitar, is simply amazing. He opened for B.B. King when he was 12 years old, and King was so impressed, he took him on tour. kzitem.info/news/bejne/z41ptaaCgZxhn4Y

Too bad. An excellent artist but her entourage seems to let her be misguided. I hardly recognize her voice in this production. A lot of effects, probably autotune, unnecessary in her case. And the mixing of the track is not good, music beeing too loud over her voice. I can barely hear her in some parts. I know this is a tough industry but she should be careful. She is good but this overall production is not, anyway in my opinion. Makes me a little sad 'cause I love this young kazakh artist.

Did you hear her live version at the Gakku festival? kzitem.info/news/bejne/2KSpwIdtqZSqnoo I saw a backstage video of this as well, and Daneliya had a bad cold and was really nervous before going on stage. The only place I really notice any effect on her voice in the official video is the opening line of the song. The rest of it seems fine (within normal parameters of an official production) to me. I like the production - very edgy, and it suits the song really well. I think the effect on her voice in the 1st line is meant to surprise you and get your attention right away. Then Daneliya's actual voice kicks in and amazes. Some people absolutely love the song/video, and for others, its just not their cup of tea.

I hear some people, and some who do reactions, complain about Daneliya's English. WHAT? most of you can't use phonetics to pronounce a word. Also most won't take the time to learn how to pronounce Daneliya;s name. People who live in glass houses, you know the rest. I am not picking on you Wolf, but this is endemic to most. You all should travel to foreign lands, see how you make out with other languages. That would quickly change your attitudes.
